homes and businesses in the territory selected, and is not an actual product
available for purchase. Information about the system mix is provided here for
comparison purposes only, to allow consumers to understand the differences
between an electricity product they may choose, and what is currently being
provided overall in their area.

The "utility service" is the electric power product in your service territory that by
law must be provided to all consumers who are not receiving electricity from any other
supplier. It is sometimes referred to as Provider of Last Resort (POLR) service. This
includes consumers who have never switched suppliers, as well as consumers who have switched
to a new supplier that has since gone out of business, and consumers who have switched to a
new supplier and, for whatever reason, have left that supplier without choosing a new one.
